  • Information you provide when applying to become a WCBB representative, volunteer, or speaker
  • Donation information, which is collected and processed directly by PayPal — we do not receive or store your card or bank account details
  • Basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected automatically as you use the site

How Does WCBB Use My Information?

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to messages sent through a contact form, including routing athlete contact form messages to the athlete’s email on file
  • Display athlete and contest information on the site, such as the athlete and contest maps
  • Process donations through PayPal
  • Maintain and improve the site, including understanding how it is used
  • Communicate with you about your application to volunteer, speak, or represent WCBB

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

How Does WCBB Use Cookies?

  • Google (Maps, AdSense, Search Console) — to display maps and advertising, and to understand site traffic
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) — to protect our contact forms from automated abuse
  • SMTP.com — to deliver email sent from the site, such as contact form notifications

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles information. If WCBB is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.

Is My Information Safe With WCBB?

This site uses SSL encryption to protect information submitted through it. You can confirm a secure connection by checking for a padlock icon in your browser’s address bar. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
