Biography

Will Anthony is a wheelchair bodybuilder from Spain whose journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of perseverance. In October 2020, his life changed dramatically after he fell asleep at the wheel and was involved in a serious car accident. The crash resulted in a C5 incomplete spinal cord injury, leaving him an incomplete quadriplegic. Following the accident, Will spent three weeks in a coma and awoke with no memory of what had happened, facing the challenge of rebuilding his life from the ground up.

Rather than allowing his injury to define him, Will embraced rehabilitation with determination and found strength through fitness. Bodybuilding became a powerful outlet that enabled him to regain confidence, improve his physical abilities, and demonstrate that limitations do not determine a person’s potential. His commitment to training reflects his resilience and his refusal to let adversity dictate his future.

  • What happened? Why are you in the wheelchair?

    On October 12, 2020, I was involved in a serious car accident after falling asleep at the wheel. The crash caused a C5 incomplete spinal cord injury, and I spent three weeks in a coma. When I woke up, I had no memory of the accident or what had happened. As a result of my injury, I am an incomplete quadriplegic and use a wheelchair. Since then, I have dedicated myself to rehabilitation, training, and proving that adversity doesn't define who I am.
