On April 8, 2025, my life changed in an instant due to a car accident. I fell asleep at the wheel at around 4 a.m. while driving at approximately 70 mph. I was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and upon impact I was thrown through the roof of the vehicle. The accident resulted in a T12 complete spinal cord injury, with spinal damage and fusion from T11 to L4. Since that day, I have been living with paralysis and using a wheelchair, continuing to adapt and rebuild my life one step at a time.
