• What happened? Why are you in the Wheelchair?

  driving home from work after a 16hour shift, hit a pole right at the top of my street. I dont remember anything but waking up days later in a hospital with doctors telling me I broke my spine in 8 places and I'm paralyzed and will never walk again.

• Why did you get started?

  Always had a love for sports and fitness all my life, I was doing this way before my injury

• What made you want to compete?

  I started to compete after my injury because I felt it tells a story, that no matter what life throws at you NEVER GIVE UP, and to show my son no matter how hard life is or gets you can overcome any obstacles in life.

• What motivates you?

  My son is all my motivation . and soon to be my grandchildren

• What suggestions or tips do you have for others?

  no EXCUSES , never give up, we do this for a reason and I believe it's to help and show others with new injuries that life is not over.
