Q&A'S

What happened? Why are you in a wheelchair, or why do you have a disability?
At the age of 3 years old, I was involved in a skateboarding accident that caused a serious spinal injury. The injury resulted in the loss of use of my legs and led to me using a wheelchair for mobility.
Why did you get started?
I started training at the age of 19 because I wanted to become stronger and prove to myself that my disability did not have to control my future. Training gave me a new sense of purpose and helped me build both physical and mental strength.
What made you want to compete?
I wanted to compete because I believed I had the ability to become a professional athlete despite my circumstances. Competing gave me a goal to pursue and an opportunity to test myself at a higher level.

That determination eventually helped me earn my IFBB Pro status in 2023.
How did you go about doing it?
I stayed committed to training consistently and continued working toward my goals every day. I spent years developing my physique, improving my strength, and learning what worked best for my body.

The encouragement of the people around me helped me keep moving forward, even during difficult times. Through consistency, discipline, and determination, I was eventually able to achieve my goal of becoming an IFBB Professional athlete.
What motivates you?
My motivation comes from within and from constantly pushing myself to become better. My faith, my journey, and everything I have overcome remind me that I am capable of achieving more.

One of my biggest motivations is my goal of becoming the first Brazilian Wheelchair Olympia Champion. That dream continues to push me every day.
What suggestions or tips do you have for others?
My advice is to keep your faith, believe in yourself, and take responsibility for your journey.

There will always be challenges, but you cannot allow difficult circumstances to decide your future. Stay focused, keep working, and let your own determination be the force that continues to move you forward.

Believe in your purpose and never stop pursuing your goals.
