Marco Pietrowski

Marco Pietrowski is a resilient and unwavering individual whose life took a dramatic turn seven months after attaining his WBFF PRO Status in the world of bodybuilding. A fateful accident left him an Incomplete Quadriplegic, but Marco’s determination and unyielding optimism have been the driving force behind his remarkable journey. Miraculously, three years post-injury, he managed to regain the strength necessary to take his first steps with the assistance of a stroller. Throughout this life-altering experience, Marco’s passion for bodybuilding and fitness has remained steadfast, a testament to his indomitable spirit.

In addition to his personal triumphs, Marco Pietrowski has dedicated himself to uplifting and inspiring others. He currently serves as a volunteer coach, working tirelessly to help disabled athletes achieve their goals. Beyond the gym, Marco has emerged as a compelling public speaker, sharing the profound lessons from his journey. He passionately advocates for health and fitness, emphasizing that these pursuits are accessible to all, regardless of their physical limitations.

Educationally, Marco completed his matriculation at George Campbell Technical High School in 2004. He furthered his expertise in fitness by obtaining a Personal Trainer Certification in 2009 from HFPA and, most recently, a Paraathletic Coach Certification in 2023 from WADA.

With an impressive career history in the fitness industry, Marco Pietrowski has made significant contributions. Before his accident, he worked as a Personal Trainer in small private gyms and managed sports supplements at a health store from 2005 to 2010. He also held a prestigious role as a Supplement Consultant and Sponsored Ambassador at Muscle Science.

Marco’s achievements in the competitive world of bodybuilding and fitness are nothing short of remarkable. He secured the title of FAME Pro Fitness Model Winner in 2008 and achieved WBFF Pro Fitness Model status in 2013. In 2018, he further solidified his legacy by winning the INBA Nationals Wheelchair division.


Marco Pietrowski boasts a diverse skill set derived from his extensive experience in the bodybuilding and fitness industry. He has excelled in various roles, from backstage management to judging, and he has coached both abled and disabled athletes across multiple divisions and federations. Notably, Marco served as the former IFBB ELITE Wheelchair division Chairman.

In recognition of his dedication and perseverance, Marco has been a sponsored adaptive athlete for USN since 2019. He is also an active member of the QuadPara Association of South Africa and previously held the position of Chairman of the IFBB ELITE Wheelchair Commission.
